It’s Nice to Meet You!

Voice Over

I am a professional voice over artist based in NYC with over 7 years of experience in the business and have voiced National Commercials, Cartoons, Radio and Internet spots, as well as several Audio Books.  I have a Broadcast Quality home studio, Source Connect Pro and all of the Studio Quality professional equipment required to voice your next National spot!

(yes, I sing (thank you BFA in Musical Theatre) - yes, I love a jingle.)

TeachinG Artist

I am a nerd for the voice! I love to teach singing technique to kids and adults ages 12 and up and am particularly interested in the adolescent changing voice. In July 2022, I spent two weeks teaching Voice Lessons to kids 12-13 with Juilliard and Nord Anglia, as part of their summer Musical Theatre Intensive. It was an incredibly transformative time as kids discovered their range and gained some skills to take with them. In my studio, we’ll use straws and Therabands, breathe on the floor and standing up, support with our low abdominals, discover functional alignment, resonance, discuss vocal load, vocal agility, yodeling, calling (aka belting ), head register, speech register and mixing the two together. When it comes to Musical Theatre, we use the various styles of singing we explore in order to tell a story vocally in an authentic and truthful way. I’m constantly taking seminars and workshops to build on my pedagogy and knowledge as a teacher. We are all beautifully unique humans and so I strive to bring “a little bit of everything” to our lessons in order to fit your unique needs and goals.

I am also an audition coach for kids prepping their Musical Theater Auditions. Whether for Performing Arts High School, A Musical, or anything else that needs a little extra attention, I am here to help you feel confident and ready to nail it! I’ve been coaching kids here in NYC since 2018 as they navigate the confusing Performing Arts High School Audition Process and am happy to help demystify and work alongside you as you prepare.

I have been a teaching artist for the past 12 years, sharing my passion for singing, acting and voice-over with kids ranging from 5 to 18.  I currently teach privately and with Epic Players, a Neuro-Inclusive Theatre Company based in NYC as an audition workshop and Vocal Technique teacher. I recently finished my 6th year with Brooklyn Children's Theatre, directing musical theater classes, audition classes, and beyond.  Formerly, I spent five wonderful years with The Studio Performing Arts in New Canaan CT.,  teaching acting, musical theater, voice lessons, and voice-over.  I created The Studio's Musical Theater program and was their resident director for The Sound of Music, Seussical, Shrek, Peter Pan, Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr., Little Women, Into The Woods Jr., and Legally Blonde Jr. ages 8 to 16.

Where It all began

Originally from Oregon, I received my BFA in Musical Theater from The New School by way of AMDA NY.   I have performed Off-Broadway in Shout The Mod Musical, Passion, Stop The World, The Boyfriend among many other plays, musicals and workshops.  My work can also be seen on screen, in a few cameos on Saturday Night Live, in several short films and the acclaimed web series, Big City, which I wrote produced and starred in. Two of my projects, Callie Wants a Solo and Boys and Other Distractions, have gone on to win audience choice at the Brooklyn Short Film Festival and have been featured selections at the New York Independent Film Festival and Williamsburg Independent Film Festival, among others.

I am a member of Actors Equity, SAG-AFTRA and NATS (national association of teachers of singing)
